About Entrance Exams

MAT ( Management Aptitude Test)

                                  All India Management Aptitude Testing Service (AIMATS), conducts a Management Aptitude Test (MAT) on a national basis every year in the months of September, December, Febraury and May.

Institutes offering recognised PG programmes in management and allied fields can participate in MAT.

MAT is necessary for admission into the Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM), Post Graduate Diploma in Information Technology & Management (PGDITM) and equivalent programmes offered by All India Management Association (AIMA-CME) or other Management Institutes (MI).

TANCET :

       TANCET is the Tamil nadu Common Entrance Test conducted to test the ability of the candidates in the areas like Quantitative Ability,Analytical Reasoning,Logical Reasoning, Knowledge Of Written English,Computer Awareness.

The Anna University (Chennai) will conduct the 2009 edition of the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET). It is mandatory for students aspiring to join MBA, MCA, ME, MTech, M.Arch and MPlan postgraduate degree courses to appear for the TANCET.

  
GRE-( Graduate Record Examination)                    

Graduate Record Examination or GRE is a commercially run standardized test that is an admission requirement for many graduate schools principally in the United States, but also in other English speaking countries.

 GRE test scores are used by admissions or fellowship panels to supplement undergraduate records and other qualifications for graduate study. The scores provide common measures for comparing the qualifications of applicants and aid in evaluating grades and recommendations.

GMAT (Graduate Management Aptitude Test)

 The Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT, pronounced G-mat,  is a computer adaptive standardized test in mathematics and the English language for measuring aptitude to succeed academically in graduate business studies. Business schools commonly use the test as one of many selection criteria for admission into an MBA program.
